I keep a section in my Prayer Journal dedicated to scrapping lessons I have learned...verses I am working on, things that have meaning to me. Recently, I scrapped this picture I took at a balloon glow...it was perfect for the verses about being the Light of the world!

Black and White and Red all over...
Just a simple, but really elegant card I made in January. The cheerful spring paper sure did help beat the winter doldrums!!
Thanks for looking, and have a great weekend!

Pizza!!
How about a look at my last sketch for My Sketch World? And, I do mean, my last one. It has been a great year, and Lucy has amazing sketches to play with...I have certainly enjoyed myself!! But, the time has come to let another team take over- and I know they will love their time as much as I have. Thanks, Lucy, for a great year!!
This is the layout I made after making pizza with the kiddos. We were learning the letter P- so a pepperoni pizza was a no-brainer. They knew the letter P by the end of the day...knew it cold, lol!!

Do you love your embossing folders? Wish you could make your own designs, free, and have them look as crisp as the store bought one? Ha! Done! Mel has the most wonderful tutorial- complete with pictures- for making embossing plate, also called texture plates, with cereal box cardboard, your stamps and modge podge. Best of all- this looks seriously do-able! Take a look:

Black Market Society
I loved this paper, when I saw it...and have been carefully hoarding it for months! I finally broke down, and decided to use it. The flowers were a paper all their own- but didn't they cut out beautifully! I really should have gotten more of this!
Have all your Valentine's goodies done? No? No problem...head on over to the SNR Card Universe tomorrow night for the Valentines Mini Card Crop. It is going to be a load of fun!!

Card Week
It has occurred to me that I haven't shared my cards with you in a while. Bad, Anne! So, this week, you get a card every day. Yeah! We just finished up a month long scrapping contest at Scrapbook Express- fun, fun- and I have a literal ton of new cards!!
So, here is the first. I chuckle every time I see this stamp. For some reason, it reminds me of my mother. Has to be the attitude, lol! I also love the geometric nature of the American Crafts paper.
