I saw the best tip...this is from fellow SNR staffer Lucy Chesna:
Make your own Stickles
What you need:
Clear craft lacquer ( aleene's paper galze, ranger glossy accent or judi kins diamon glaze)
Glitter ( any color )
toothpick or brush to mix
Mixing container
mini bottles- empty eye dropper bottles cleaned out and ready to put in your stickles
syringe
Directions:
In your empty container mix equal parts clear lacquer and glitter. Mix with a toothpick or brush
Add more glitter if it's too runny or more clear lacquer if it's too thick.
It should be the consistency of glitter glue (or thinner if you want to cover a large area)
Then when you done , use your syringe and suck it up and put it into your bottle.
You are done and repeat the steps for any color of glitter you want to use
Such a great tip!! For more awesome ideas and information, be sure to join us on the SNR forums. We are a wonderful group of scrapers who love to chat and share ideas, inspiration, and smiles. And you are very welcome!!

Anyone still out there- or have you all given up on me? I woud understand- I have been a baaaadddddd blogger! But, I have been very busy- and I can now tell you why. It's your tip this week, too- ready?
How would you like to go to a completely free stamping convention? We are talking completely free, top notch workshops, incredible manufacturers, prizes, ideas, ton- and I mean TONS of eye candy...and a chance to be seen by the manufacturers, too?! I am dead serious- and the travel and airfare is free, too- cause it's virtual, lol! That's right- SNR is hosting it's first Summer Stamping Wrokshop- and it is going to be IN-CRED-I-BLE!! I am not kidding- I know the plans, and I am bouncing excited.
OK- here's what you need to do- keep an eye here...I am going to get you a supply list and class schedule in the next couple of days. And then- plan to be at SNR next Saturday afternoon. Send the Hubby and the kiddos to the movie- the new Ice Age is out- they'll love it. It is going to be one truly awesome day!!

Want to hear my Scrapping Cents Tip for this week? I actually have two for you...not sure either of them is profound. But, I'll share them anyway. Here goes...
One:
Garage Sales ROCK for organizational equipment!! No kidding...people have bought them by the droves, gotten frustrated with them, and are selling them for a buck or 2 a piece. Get out there--I ahve never come home empty handed. Now, I am not just talking drawer dividers and containers- I mean shelves and white particle board units. Yeahm you know- the rubber made ones that you spend 15-40$ a piece on at WM. Think vertical...A 3' shelf, stacked with a shoe thing on top...or any combination. Once you marry them together, these look like furniture. I'm telling you...
Two:
The old Cassette tape holders...the ones that were made to put your cassette tapes into...these things are perfect for ribbons on the roll. Each slot hold one spool of ribbon. And, they come in wall units, vertical towers, etc, etc... Best part? People are giving them away! I mean- who uses cassettes anymore, right?
Hope these ideas help!!

Do you love the look of Glimmer Mists but hate the idea of spending $7 a bottle? Me, too!! I found this solution, and it works like a charm:
-Go to WM and get a little travel size hirspray bottle for 97 cents.
-Add ink color- distress reinkers, alcohol inks, whatever...
-Add perfect pearls or pearl ex- just a little goes a long way.
-Add a little hairspray (yea, it is a sealer)
-Shake and spray...voila!
Yup, for a fraction of the cost, you can make your own custom colors. Cool, huh?!

Are you ready to make a few Easter Treats? Worried that you don't have the perfect stamp in your collection to make a great project? No worries! Today, I am bringing you a few digital stamp collections. What is a digital stamp, you ask? Simply an image you print from the internet/computer onto cardstock, color and add to your project. In some cases, the digital stamps are meant for this purpose- in other case, these are color pages. You can print the color pages full size and hand them to your kiddos---or make them a coloring book to add to their Easter basket. Or- you can tell your printer to print at 20-25% scale- and you are ready to add to your project. Here you go- have fun!
